Procedure: FEMTO LASIK Profession: Software Engineer - Screen Time at least 9 hours a day Age: 34 years at the time of the surgery Initial Consultation: 10/10 (I wish I could give more points for this, my detailed review below will explain why I think like this) Procedure: 10/10 (I went to dinner with my friend after 5 hours of my surgery with Dr. Sufyan's permission) Followup: 10/10 (As I don't reside in Lahore, Dr. Sufyan gave me his WhatsApp no. and if ever I need to ask something he responds) I was looking for a seasoned eye professor for my laser eye treatment, therefore, I contacted all my friends and family members who had done this in the past. In addition to this, I also read online reviews about clinics and hospitals which were performing laser eye treatment in Pakistan. After spending so much time on research I was still confused because it was related to my eyes and I did not want to take any chances, I am sure you would not want to do that either. Finally, one fine day my cousin who recently graduated from FMH Lahore suggested that I should consult his former eye professor. He spoke extremely highly of him and showed great confidence in him which convinced me to travel to Lahore for a consultation with Dr. Sufyan. I liked Dr. Sufyan as soon as I met him, his open, humble and calm personality had already impressed me during the initial checkup however I still hadn't made my mind to go ahead for surgery with him. After initial eye checkup, he started explaining to me the 4 procedures that were available in Pakistan with pros and cons and how all these procedures are performed, he was so thorough that I could now explain these to any layman. He was also honest and open, he mentioned about errors, complications, and total no. of procedures that he has performed in each type and what was the success ratio. After all the discussion, I felt so much comfort that I decided to go for the laser treatment on the same day and I booked my appointment at 4 pm for the FEMTO LASIK procedure. I reached the eye center on time and after my initial scans were performed I was taken to a dark room where my procedure was to be performed. Honestly, if it wasn't with Dr. Sufyan, I would have changed my mind to not do the procedure, but he made me feel comfortable and for the first time in my life I felt confident that I should do it. It was a painless and smooth experience, the whole surgery for both eyes took between 15-20 minutes. My eyes were watery for 2-3 hours as the doctor told me but I took a nap for a few hours and when I woke up it was all good. I went out for dinner with my friends the same night for a short time with doctor's permission but was wearing sunglasses and the next morning when I woke up I didn't feel the need to wear sunglasses, however, I still used them as a precaution and my vision was completely restored Alhamdulilah. I went for a followup at 3 pm and Dr. Sufyan performed a detailed checkup and confirmed that my vision was completely restored within 24 hours Alhamdulilah. After that, I had to do only one followup after a week and since then if I ever needed to consult regarding my drops continuity or eye dryness I confirmed with Dr. Sufyan on WhatsApp and he has always responded back.
