Talk to Urologist on Post-vasectomy

Hi. 8 days ago I had a vasectomy, there is a lump about the size of a golf ball just above my left testicle, the right testicle is completely fine. There is also still some white/yellow discharge from the incision site. What could this all be? Could this compromise the success of the vasectomy?

I had a cauterized/sealed procedure (vas deferens not cut).
