You need to be clear about this procedure that in best of the surgical hands, it results in functionally straight P (less than 20 degree curvature).
Nesbit's plication or any other straightening procedure does not return your penis to it's normal state.
If by erectile dysfunction you mean improvement in the quality of erections; it does not do so. Only benefit is (if all goes well) that you'll be able to an intercourse.
A well known drawback of this procedure is the "penile shortening".
Having said that, this plication procedure is only suitable for you, if you have curvature (bend) of less than 60 degrees on full erection.
You can expect a shortening of 1 cm (erect length) for every 15 degrees of curvature straightning.
There is 5 percent risk of permanent impotence and loss of sensation and numbness.
5 to 10 percent risk of having this problem again at a later date.
Have your doctor seen the photographs and measured the degree of curvature?

Regarding the recovery from this procedure:
I usually discharge my patients on the same day or early next morning if the procedure was late in the evening.
You can expect a catheter (tube in the urine passage ) for 5 to 7 days.
Stitches are usually absorbable which usually disappear in two to three weeks but may occasionally take longer.
You may get normal erections in the days after procedure even in the presence of catheter.
After the catheter removal, you must avoid all types of sexual activities (intercourse and masturbation) for atleast six weeks after the procedure.
Do discuss with your urologist for possible alternatives.
In most people with Peyronie's disease, no treatment is required at all, as it will settle down over a period of time!!!@

Are you sure you have Peyronie's disease?.
Erectile function and Peyronie's are two different conditions.
What you are receiving treatment for is Erectile dysfunction. Nesbit's procedure has nothing to do with improvement of erectile function. It is to correct the bend / curvature only.
