you should consult if such thing happens, the chance of reaction or side effects is rare, and this goes not only for psychiatric meds, but all sort of meds and even herbal remedies. but such side effects are manageable if consulted timely.
My dear, all medications even panadol have reactions like liver failure which is deadly side effect of Panadol. Dispirin which seems to be very safe in our community has devastating side effects like brain haemorrhage. You can google it. I mean to say that no medicine is safe, but its the duty of the doctor to give informational care to the patient regarding side effects profile and how to minimise it, now I don’t know which medicines reaction occurred in your case, its better to visit that psychiatrist and inform him of your condition.
