Talk to Pediatrician on Belly Button Swelling

My son is 2 months old,vua c sec due to low movements,was scheduled earlier than due time. His umbilical stump fall in 11th day. I regularly cleaned with alcohol pads. It was fine for a week but gradually started swelling. Attaching picture. it comes out even more when he needs to poo abd put pressure on tummy. Have a lot colic issue. Somebody told me uts Hernia and it needs surgery. Kindly tell me whether it will cyre it self or needs treatment,now or later???? Also i hve noticed bit sweeling in ine side of his genital.
dear concerned mother its umbilical hernia usually babies have it but it will itself resolve around 1-2yrs of time duration nothing to worry about just watch for any danger sign like swelling not going back or it changes colour etc.
its umbilical hernia. will resolve in few months. if persist beyond 1 year of age or gets inflamed you must consult a Pediatrics surgeon. no worries for the time being
Yes it is umbilical hernia...if it persists beyond the age of 1 year then it needs surgery...Secondly if you noticed other swelling in the groin area then you should consult pediatric surgeon and get him examined.
this is umbilical hernia, we usually wait upto one year or in case of emergency if it gets stuck at any time...but I am talking about other swelling you told that you noticed beside the genitalia

Yes it is umblical hernia usually it disappear stick the five rupee coin wt sticking tape if other swelling then must consult peadriatics surgeon
