My baby is almost 12 months old now nd i want to go for circumcision but dr said they will give hime general anaesthesia tow mujhy is sy dar lag raha hai is it safe to give general anaesthesia itny choty ay ko ?
no need to give general anesthesia....local anesthesia is enough and safe for baby...General Anesthesia has so many complications......
this first time in my life that circumcision required general anesthesia

General anesthesia is safe after 6 months of life. But circumcision can be performed under local anesthesia so no need of general anesthesia. you can consult some other pediatric surgeon willing to do procedure under local anesthesia.
