Hello doctors I hope you're all doing well I want to inquire few things. My friend went for HSG test and diagnosed with hydrosalpinx but doctor said that your tubes have small openings...he didn't say that it's completely blocked. She wants to know if there is a chance of conceiving naturally. Doctor prescribed her glucophage and adfolic. Plus another medicine to take from 2nd to 6th day of cycle and 3 times a day. And injections for day 6 8 and 10. He said that he will wait for 3 months then will do surgery and she has to go for ivf. Kindly guide in this scenario is it possible for conceive naturally or she should directly go for ivf Regards
hello, it is possible to conceive with hydrosalphinges but chances aren't quite high. ivf and surgery for hydrosalphinges are quite expensive. so she should attempt the 3 month course if current medication and then proceed to ivf if unsuccessful. Good luck
patient is given a chance of ovulation induction by medicine although HCG showing hydrosalpinx but it's nt 100..I think wait for three month if not then go for IVF

salam dear i need to know few things like what is ur age and your husband semen analysis if alll the things are normal then go for laparoscopic dye test as it is more sensitive than HSg if during laparoscopy ur only one tube block and another is healthy then there is chances of conception after removing unhealthy tube as with the hydrosalpinx high risk of having pregnancy out side the uterus or hydrosalpinx itself interfere in concieving so if both tube involve better to go for tubal removal first then go for Ivf
