i am 2.5 years old daughter is having sore throat and fever 102C she is on medication of augmentun 312mg and calpol shoud we use blanket or fan to reduce fever??
Continue above medication with calpol 6hrly. If not responding with calpol then add Syp Brufen alternatively. U Can do sponging if high grade fever
no blanket during fever .as already advised use calpol and brufen alternately with 2-3 hr interval inbetween .continue Augmantin
Hi, cold sponging is recommended with the mentioned medications. Monitor her symptoms closely for the following five days.
Over wrapping may increase body temperature further. Therefore use of a blanket is not advisable in fever.
