My husband family has history of asthma. My son has allergy (eczema). I had read on internet these two problems are inter link.. So what test we need to check asthma in 2year boy and 6month baby.. Plz recommend test need for asthma diagnoses.. Thanks

Your concerns about association between Asthma, Allergy and Eczema are understandable. However please understand that these problems may exist separately from each other as well. So having one of these does not necessarily mean that your children will have all three of them. At this point if there are no symptoms of Asthma, there is nothing to worry about ti. There is no such test which will give a confirmed diagnosis of Asthma. It depends on the symptoms and complete history.
Please see a child Specialist.He will take a full history & examine your child.It appears,he may have asthma,One can do a blood test for allergy (RAST) & breath analysis eNO.other tests may include CBC,Chest X-ray.
Actually without examination and proper medical history it is difficult to give answer but depending on certain facts we may ask patient to do CBC and IgE antibodies
