Assalam u alaikum.my wife age 40 is having severe cough.chest congestion.nasal blockage.She has been doing nebulisation at home with clenil compositum.taking desi Sharbat toot siyaah mulathii waala.phlegm is coming out.4 days ago she had fever but now no fever.Gets headache by too much cough.

I will give advice after taking history and examination. Investigations can also be done and if she needs admission she can be admitted.

Her condition isnt bad.No serious issue.seems like simple respiratory infection and seasonal alergy.please advise any good syrrups or antibiotics please...

Please do sputum c/s test and mean while start following medicines. Tablet ciproxin 500mg twice a day. Tablet paracetamol 3 times daily tablet prednisone 5mg 3 times daily syrup hydralline 3 times daily seritide inhaler 3 times daily. She also needs some nasal decongestant some anti Allergic medicine like cetrizine and tablet montileukast once daily
