Hi, I have a problem of severe cough and difficulty in breathing for almost 8 years. I felt that severity in cough with mucus coming from throat and breathing issues starts from first week of December and ends with in 6 - 7 weeks. I also feel chest pain and tightness and also have family history of asthma Rarely blood also comes with mucous. I am now taking Kestine and Montiget which reduces severety in cough but breathing issues remains same

Hi you need a detail consultation to be evaluate, like age, smoking status etc, then your xray chest to look for any leision in your lungs and also you should be evaluated for any allergy related air way diseases.

u need to get ur investigations and if possible get ur HRCT scanned Chest done. As far as treatment is concerned, u need to add Inhaler on regular basis along with montiget. Salmicort 25/250 2 puffs two times daily.
