Asking For Father, Male 61, Chak shahzad
My father had a blood in mouth a year back. after x ray a patch/mass was shown in report also in ct scan. bronchoscopy is advised . he is also a sugar patient. is it dangerous?. he is currently on TB medications. where bronchoscopy is done?
Age ,smoking status is required??
Mass is less likely to be in TB,,,Sputum or BAL analysis is needed for the confirmation of T.B.
if possible upload Xray or CT images.
if at karachi . take him to jinnah hospital .
if no affordability issue take him to Lnh Dr. Ali arsalan. or medicentre Dr. nadeem Rizvi

Very limited information.Any mass in chest should be investigated. If he is already on TB medications, follow it.Many chest physicians are performing Bronchoscopy & it’s not dangerous, rather fairly a safe procedure
yes he needs bronchoscopy in order to reach a correct diagnosis.it is not dangerous in sugar patients
Have u done normal ct chest or ct chest with contrast
yes bronchoscopy is must in order to reach otherwise he ll be advised TB drugs by general practitioners
There is no danger of bronchoscopy in diabetic patients
for how long he i on TB medicine s.was his sputum for AFB examination done before starting TB medicationes
better to do gene exper test now.

Needs CT chest with contrast and BAL for AFB and cytology to reach the final diagnosis, would not recomend TB drugs at the moment.
Take an online or physical consultation for further guidance.
