Sleep paralysis is a condition occurs during waking up or falling a sleep, person is aware but unable to move or speak, it is important t assess for narcolepsy, this confirm may trigger by sleep deprivation, psychological stress, or abnormal deep cycle, patient should be assess for other conditions like atomic seizures or sure to some electrolyte imbalance like hypokalemic periodic paralysis, I would suggest visit a sleep medicine specialist in AKU and go for sleep study test and patient may need a psychiatric assess after evaluation from medical and neurological tests. Thanks
