Asking for Other, Male, 30 years old, Lahore

As per your vast clinical experience & knowledge, which SSRI is most suitable & effective at treating both IBS-C and Social Anxiety Disorder? Have both diseases since childhood. Tried Prozac & Seroxat as prescribed by Doctor. Prozac 20mg didn't work for Social Anxiety, Seroxat 20mg worsened the IBS-C and it work very good for Social Anxiety. Didn't tried any other. So I was wondering which SSRI or any other drug would be effective for both IBS-C & Social Anxiety?

Thanks Dr Nadeem for advice. Currently taking Prothiaden 25mg at night as prescribed by internist saying that it has bowel calming effect.
Yes CBT changes thoughts, angle of looking at things etc...
I find that it is even more effective than medicines. It has 70% share & medicines 30% in Social Anxiety.
What about Zoloft, is it good for both IBS-C & Social Anxiety?

The reliance on medication is at the most a temporary solution. There are long term solutions via therapy with excellent results.

thanks Dr Usman Hotiana for reply. Yes I have recently read on mayoclinic, clevelandclinic & other top health websites providing patient-education, they all mention therapy mostly CBT at first then medicines etc under treatment heading.
I can't be on medicines for life.
So on temporary basis, if a medicine has to be used while getting therapy, which SSRI did you find most effective for IBS-C & Social Anxiety?

thanks a lot.
