hi. i am taking venlafaxin high dose 375 mg per day from 3 years for depression.now i am feeling that i have lost intrest in activities i loved and i dont feel pleasure in activities or games i loved. what is the reason of this. is my antidepressant is not working correctly. what i do for it ?

welcome. Venlafaxine is quite a good dose and duration of depression is also long, you need to tell the last visit with your doctor, and when you were normal from now and since how long you have been having these symptoms? this may be the relapse of the symptoms? and you have to figure out what are the reasons for your depression? yes, it happens sometimes that medications are not working then the patient may be put on combination therapy, and it is also important to understand the psychosocial issues which may precipitate the depression, either you visit you treating doctor or take an expert opinion.
