Talk to Psychiatry on Health Anxiety
Asking for Self, Female, 27 years old, Lahore
I am suffering from health anxiety. Siz months ago i had a daughter from csec. I had internal bleeding after csec. I got really ill. From that time i have severe mucsle aches rapid heart beat and severe headaches from some days. i have been to many drs and ER. But everyone says its all due to anxeity. I get really nervous and unable to do any thing at the moment when i have some pain. I have fear of dying and leaving my little kids behind. Ita getting worse day by day. I want treat it now. I want to should whom i consult a psychiatrist or a psychologist. Please help in this regard.
Anxiety disorders should be assessed in detail by a Psychiatrist first and the effective management or treatment includes both pharmacological and psychological therapy combined. either one on it's own is not effective in longer term management of illness.
