It's been years that i am in a state of worst mental health. Almost three years ago a neurosurgeon prescribed me escitalopram. I am using this medicine from that time but not on regular bases but whenever i feel i couldn't tackel myself anymore. Now this tablet just start disturbing me it cause nausia condition afterwards. It comforts me less. PS. Benzodep and epival were also used earlier. I have no way to help myself

Welcomed, you have been using antidepressant prescribed by neurosurgeon, and your are taking it without consulting a psychiatrist, no doubt escitalopram is a good molecule but it should be treated by psychiatrist. Thanks

I had migrain that's why i go to neurosurgeon he asked me about overall problems and prescribed it. Anyhow can you tell me please what the reason behind it that tablet is not helpful ?earlier it did help me i feel relieved but now it just makes me worst regarding nausia n all that. My question is still un answered what should my way now? I couldn't see a psychiatrist yet for certain reasons.

Escitalopram is antidepressant medication, you might have gotten the relief because of some antidepressant effects of medication and I can not comment on your migraine diagnosis and why it is not working now that need to be assessed to review your diagnosis and treatment, I would suggest visiting a psychiatrist, if you do not want to visit a psychiatrist for certain reasons!!! then better to have expert opinion by neuro physician to have healthy discussion on your migraine diagnosis and treatment.
