Aslamualekum, I have been going through anxiety for last few days. I am following these instructions from Hazrat Ali (R.A) and feeling much better than before. You should also follow this. https://www.parhlo.com/hazrat-ali-taught-us-the-cure-of-depression-1500-years-ago/amp/
Salam, I can understand that not being able to have a comfortable can be a challenge and have troubling consequences. As a sleep specialist I never start with prescribing medications first but after taking a elaborate history and review of mental state, if the condition is primary insomnia I always advise sleep hygiene techniques first. I am happy to provide assistance and consultation if needed. Best wishes.

There are many ways to deal the depression. And taking meds depends on the SEVERITY of your condition. I can tell you that there is some techniques you may use to tackle it.
Antidepressants or SSRIs can be recommended but they have SEDATIVE factors.
So my ADVICE is better not take ANTIDEPRESSANTS , if you dont want to get lethergic, sleepy and slowness.
As i mentioned earlier in one of query
"There are a lot of options available for coping stress and depression.
1. Medications
2. Psychotherapy
3. Meditation
4. Physical Exercise
5. Earthing
6. Yoga
7. Hypnosis
8. Self Hypnosis
9. Prayer
10. Gratitude Exercise"
And there are many more.

Thanks for posting your question here.
I was reading comments of my colleagues
and your replies
I suggest that you address reasons if possible or seek help of a mental health professional for guidance
if that doesn't work then perhaps medication is a option
