asking about self my gastro diagnosed me with ibs 2 months back intially he. prescribed me 5 mg escitalopram then after a.week he put me on 10 mg and maintaining the dose since 8 weeks. now there's is constant buzzing and ringing in my ears.plus brain zaps are frequent.the ibs issue is resolved somewhat I need to ask how to tapper off the medicine.what will be the criteria for it. thanks in advance.

Welcome again, there is no special criteria for that but slowly to tapper off the medication, but it is important to know who has decided to tapper off, for example self I would suggest do not practice this rather visit your doctor then decide and if doctor has decided he might has told this in both ways, doctors advise is recommended. Thanks

My son is 16 years old and Dr diagnosed bipolar he is taking epival disik kempro and quepin for the last yeah
