Hi, I've some serious anxiety concerns. I've been taking medicines from last 3 months but the issue resolves for temporary period. My head spins all the time n I can feel my irregular heartbeat. I feel difficulty in breathing and everytime I have negative thoughts n death fears in mind. I get panic attacks more oftenely that get better after I get nebulized. All such thoughts are real obstacle in my productive work performance. Due to ongoing pandemic, I couldn't visit my doctor again. May I please know how to resolve such issues because they're really dreadful.

Hi there. I understand its a difficult time for you. What you are describing seems like panic attacks. Nebulizer and oxygen don't have a role here as its not the lack of oxygen which causes panic attacks and breathing difficulties which are part of it Many Psychiatrists are offering online consultation. Please talk to one to review your medications. You can also try some relaxation exercises like Deep breathing exercises. I hope this helps.

Thanks alot for the kind reply sir but I took prozac too n nothing worked effectively. The only thing that swirls in my mind all the time specifically when I offer prayer is about death. The shortness of breath happens all in sudden n that's why I find nebulizer as my last resort for the survival. I feel no strength in my body and my mood swings have gone worsen. My stomach got affected as I've acidity n wamble issues when I feel anxious. Sometimes I feel like I should endup my life because at my home I've no one to share my concern with. Generally, they take this traumatic mental illness for granted. I despatarely want to spend my life at its fullest but there's no glimmer of hope for me now.

I am sorry to hear about your difficulties. Please discuss this with a Psychiatrist as soon as possible. There are many medications available for Panic and anxiety. Medication can be changed or dose increased. They can also teach you some relaxation exercises, or recommend some self-help books. Also google how to use paper bag technique for a panic attack. You also need to discuss problems in your life with a therapist. I hope this helps. Regards
