Citalopram belongs to catagory of SSRIs.One of front line medicine for depression and anxiety.But these drugs start its effects on anxiety and depression after lag of 2 weeks.Then dose is maintained.Initial doses does oroduces un pleasant effects.So taking this nedicine on and off bases is not a good idea.It has to be taken on regular bases.
