i have been taking anti-depressant (prozac 20 mg , quetiapine 25 mg and initial lorazepam for 3-4 months) since 1 year and 4 months , now i feel like that my muscle strength has lost and my muscular injury heals up very slowly and power is also very less. Kindly suggest me what to do?
You should involve yourself in proper exercises and physiotherapy counseling. Do not do any exercise without physiotherapy consultation.
You need to indulge into strength training program it will increase ur strength and as well as staima. Weight training is the best one to strengthen ur muscles and to minmimze ur depression. But dont start any exercise without supervision of a competent physiotherapist.

if you are doing yoga, swimming and jogging and getting muscle strength loss or aches, you might be doing too much for your body.
see some physiotherapist to make the right exercise plan for you.
also check with your psychiatrist for side effects of anti depression medication.

as far as anti depressant are concern it can stabilize the mood of the patient but when he or she face the same stressors in life the depression reverses. in many cases the depression is Psychogenic in nature and in that case psychotherapy is the best recommended solution.
with passage of time anti-depressants lose its effectiveness and you might need to change the dose that a psychiatrist can recommend.

I was depressed 2 years ago and i have also taken psychotherapy and i may depression and anxiety has also been lifted from last year June, the main problem that i am facing is that i feel that my muscle powers and body strength has be reduced.

Anti depression medication suppose to slow down the nerve impulses and so the muscle strength, It also cause muscle fibers to lost and that could be the reason of decrease muscle strength. I will strongly recommend you to get through your blood tests and start daily walk as a general measure to insure large muscle group activity. Also share your complete signs and symptoms for taking these medications so that I may guide you better.

Dear you need proper assessment with careful plan of exercises to recover your strength. You need to visit with all your prescriptions.
You should look after your diet as well as taking protein rich diet followed by muscle training will help you regain your muscle tone and strength.
