Talk to Pediatrician on Type Of Joundice Found In 5% Babies

1day old baby...Dr said to have jaundice that is found in 5%babies..first he asked to change the blood of baby..then he gave him injections n said if they will effect.then no need to change the blood of baby..luckily injections suited .kindly tell me precautions aur advice for future..what steps should parents take

if mother's blood group negative and baby's blood group is positive then we need to give anti-D injection after delivery. for physiologic jaundice that is seen commonly in babies nothing can be done to protect future babies
Please follow your treating doctor, he/she can well decide who is handling the baby....
what is blood group of mother and any baby who is having jaundice at first day is always pathological and needs treatment in form of phototherapy, IvIGs etc
