Talk to Pediatrician on Strange Rashes
Asking for Other, Male, 1.5 years old, Karachi
Salam my 1.5 year old son started to get these rashes on his back. a few days back he started to scratch these and now these rashes are appearing he is no more scratching these rashes but he continued to scratch back in the lower side now I think these will be appearing there too.
I want to know if this needs to see a doctor I want to avoid it as a COVID situation. If any Dr can help me out here by letting me know if I can apply something on his skin or should I go to Dr. thank you

Thanks for sharing ur concern.tell me more about it. location and distribution of rash? any new lotions or creams used recently ? is it more itchy after warm bath or at night ? bleeding or oozing from any part of the rash ? fever ? rash on elbows ? legs and knees ? family history of eczema ? Any family history of asthma or hay fever ?

Karachi , distribution is all over the back didn't use any new product on the skin. He itches all day but not on rashes. no bleeding no oozing in fact I applied baby lotion on them and it seems now more like dead skin peeling off no rashes on elbows or legs or anywhere. no history of eczema. His mother and me both don't have asthma. But I have a huge dandruff issue and use medical shampoo . In dry days these dandruff problem cause some time rashes behind the air and on chest .

Thanks for the details. The history that u have given about ur self of an itchy rash behind the ears and on chest points towards seborrhoeic dermatitis most likely.
