My son started to speak at 3.5 years old. Now he is 6.8 years old and perfectly speaking. Infact he talks alot about differnt things. Problem is he doesnot follow directions. If i ask him to bring something he would not understand me and saw me like blank face and when i repeat myself he will then slowly responsed after 30 sec to 1 min. Please guide how can i help my child to follow directions. He could not multitask. He skips steps. Thank yoi

Please try to converse with him slowly word by word with appropriate pauses. Soon he will recognize the pattern and will be able to respond. but these things take time so be patient with him. For milti tasking you need to show him with example so he can understand better.
