Hi I need advise from pedia specialist only please My child is 5 years old and he has recurrent tonillitis this winters on and off and 4 or 5 times i had to start him on medication for fever and antibiotics as well. I myself a doctor and due to pandemic i am in high risk so is my kids. My child also has seasonal allergy with morning sneezing and cough on and off. I make him do gargles daily and he drink hot liquids. My query is “ any thing that i can start him for this seasonal allergy in this infectious time to help him out” ill be highly grateful for response May Allah protect us all
dear dr.dont worry.check the child growth.improve his dietry habits with high protein. meat chicken soup pulses etc.
it is good doing gargles with saline &luke warm water.
cbeck his throat if no follicles means whitish pus like. no necl swelling no high fever . avoid antibiotics.
citrizine syp/rigix 2.5 ml at night can be give if much problem for 5 days.
ceck the growth. any family history of allergies asthma etc let me know
continue hans washing &social distancing with with balanced diet good to take fresh fruits as well.
