Talk to Pediatrician on Repeated Fever

A child of age 2 has fever from 6 days. Doctor gave 2 syrups, "cefspan DS (cefixime) and dologin DS suspension (mefenamic acid). It can't gave relief. Fever repeatedly felt after some relief. Kindly suggest some solution.
