Asking For Self, Female 27, islamabad
I have a 3 week old daughter. She was born at 38 week through C section as I am a dibetic and hypertensive mother. She had hypoglycemia at birth but later showed no sign of DM. She was diagnosed with less white blood cell count and borderline calcium deficency. She was given antibiotic injections and calcium supplement. Now she is 3 weeks old. She hardly sleeps, cries a lot and kicks when I try to give mother feed. Even on formula milk she has gas issue. I give her 1 anti colic drop every 6 hour. She cries a lot both at day and night and pass lot of gas. I am completely exhausted and have no idea how to make her sleep for more than half hour

Mother feeding is something not new for mothers. According to medical science it is a perfect package for a newborn baby full of antibodies to protect your baby. Its ingredients are the most suitably formulated by Allah Almighty to address the issues seen in babies just after birth. Top feeding may not provide adequate nutrients & can give rise to problems mentioned in your question. You should keep on trying for breast feeding, the best option for you & your baby.
Most of the babies are colic at birth and this is something we cant change and have no control over. When a baby is colic she cries inconsolably for 3 hours or more for at least 3 days a week. Peak age of colic is 4-6 weeks. However there are certain things you can do to ease the discomfort of the baby. Give her tummy time 15 mins a day, massage her tummy in clockwise manner with olive oil, do her leg exercises and give her infacol drops for colic 2-3 times a day. Its very disturbing for parents to see their babies like this but i hope all this will help.
