Talk to Pediatrician on Petroleum Jelly

Kiya petroleum jelly baby ke skin per laga sakte hain?? Baby 8 month ka hai or uske chin per or honton per chote chote dane hain Dermotologist ko dikhaya to unho ne kaha k yeh pimples drooling ki waja se hain or petroleum jelly likh ke di hai. Lekin mujhe log keh rahe hain k petroleun jelly bachi ko nahi lagate. I want second opinion since its my first child so im really concerned about him. Plz mujhe bataye ke petroleum jelly main bache ke chin or lips ke surrounding main laga sakti ho?? Or agr in case mou main jaye to koi issue to nahi hoga. Will be really thankful fir ur prompt response.
