Risk factors for constipation are sedentary lifestyle, low intake of fibre diet like fruits and vegetables, low intake of water.
Correct the above. Decrease milk intake. Check TSH to rule out hypothyroidism. If pain in passing stools, show to doctor to rule out Anal fissure. If not improving then doctor may investigate him for any other intestinal disease.
