Asking for Self, Female, 33 years old, Lahore

I am a nursing mother. My baby is born at 36 weeks, and he is 20 days now. He was diagnosed high jaundice when he was 8 days old, and was kept in phototherapy for 24 hrs then was discharged, with his reports on the boundary value. Now i am keeping him in sunlight daily. He is 20 days now but his complexion and eyes are still yellow. In this case, for me, taking iron supplements would be ok? Because i am nursing him. Wouldn't taking iron effect baby? Because in jaundice, red blood cells are broken. Please advise. JazakAllah
