Talk to Pediatrician on Pediatric Cough
Asking for Other, Male, 6 years old, Islamabad
Assalamu alaykum. Child age 6 did complete course of augmentin ds. One tablespoon twice a day for 6 days. No pain in throat(tonsils). No fever but cough isn't going. Infact cough has increased. Seems dry but I think there's phlegm stuck in his chest. He's also taking nutropil (brain tonic) 5 ml a day and folic acid advised by neurologist. Also taking omega plus.

well cough is probably persistent because child is inable to cough secretions out. if you have got nebulizer at home you can nebulize with normal saline and atem half ampule two times a day alongwith chest physiotherapy. although it's better to get an appointment with pediatrician so that he gets appropriate prescription
