Lactose free should never be given to a normal baby unless he has a pre-existing medical condition. alot of questions before I advise you. 1. is he chronically ill? 2. is he a pt of chronic diarrhea? 3. who recommended LF and why? 4. why can't he have mother feed?

fine. switch the formula to normal formula. LF is given to patients with chronic diarrhea. if still problem persists, you can visit my clinic in Lahore or get an online consultation from me. in that share with me further details and will see the solution of your kid's issue.

your child needs to be evaluated properly and then advised about feeding. lactose free is only imdicated in a few conditions and if thats the issue we need to see that, other issues like Cow milk protein allergy can be a contributing factor in any child who refuses feeding. so you need a good consultation

I understand you are a working lady. There is no substitute for breastfeeding. Best would be to buy a breast milk pumping machine and extract milk and store it in a refrigerator. Somebody can feed your baby on extracted breast milk in your absence.
