Asking for Other, Male, 4 years old, Oman
Are pillows, walkers, bouncers, or keeping a baby for long period of time in bouncing chair really damaging?
What's the child's age?
Under 1 year of age, most of us use walkers and bouncers. The prolonged use of walkers is not recommended. Bouncers in which the child is laying down are safer but the ones in which the baby practices jumping is again not recommended for prolonged periods.
Don’t start using pillows until the baby is 5.5 to 6months. Allowing the baby to sit with support for short intervals.
