Asking for Other, Male, 2.5 years old, Abbottabad

My 2.5 years old son diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome(+++ albumin) 2 weeks ago first week we used steroid syrup neupred 5ml twice and tab. Spiromide 1/2 for 5 days . Initially his eyes was swalloen and belly little bit. But after one week started tablets 4morining and 2 evening for 6 days until today . Today Alhamdullilah albumin is nill but due to spiromide his eyes seems to b very dull like dehydrated. We used spiromide for 5 days. Do we need to reduce the dose? Or continue..

consult a pediatrician. as if it is 1st attack of nephrotic you have to continue tablets for at leadt 6 weeks and then slowly refucing dose. stop spiromide

please consult pediatric nephrologist and as per protocl steroid could b contineu for 6 week then taper off and u just stop spiromide and mus to consult with nephrologist

stop spiromide as it should not be use preferably in patients with nephrotic syndrome. you have to continue with the steroids for at least 4 weeks before tapering.
