My baby boy is 16 months old. He was a premature baby born in 34th week. After birth he faced severe jaundice about 18.2 he was under rays for 48 hours. He also faced many severe infections because of weak immune system. He held his neck when he was 11 months old. Now as he is 16 months old, he is not able to sit. He has very floppy body. He has good eye contact. He reponses well. He holds things properly. He just babbles bababa. His EMG report, CPK, LDH test are attached below. Doctor prescribed him multivitamins, iron and xiqrant syrup. I am doing his physiotherapy regularly two times a day. Is he gettig the ideal treatment? Is there any need for more tests and treatment? Should i visit more doctors or just wait? Please guide me because as the days are passing i am getting more and more tensed.

its seems from reports that ur child has problems with his muscles. this problem is congenital probably, so time will decide about his growth and development in future. meanwhile continue with physiotherapy and multivitamins. do regularly see some Pediatric neurologist in ur city. time will decide about ur son.

This baby's report shows myopathy but this baby was born premature and had neonatal sepsis and jaundice whi h might have affected his brain as well. Needs regular follow up by child specialist.

This is Gross Developmental Delay. There probably is some damage to his brain due to various problems in past. Such children may not achieve all their Milestones. Only time will tell the extent of improvement.
