Most of the time, it’s viral in origin.if no fever & not sick looking then use following medication. 1- pedialyte ( ORS) with each motion 2- Bactocell sachet PO 12hrly 3- Syp: Zincday 1/2 tsf once per day . With rice made light diet.
consistency as well as frequency both important. if it is total watery then even one is concerning while if slightly loose then 3 is not too much, although her dehydration has to be monitored and treated by giving ORS. zincat 5ml once daily for 2 weeks is good.
