Asking For Other, Female 15, Karachi
hello dr.my query is for my 15days old baby girl.she is on my feed and i give her top feed once a day.problem is she is hungry all day and keep.on asking for feed and keep on crying.she also does not burp.i tried every position for as long as half an hour but she just dont take burp.she also spits milk as soon as she takes it and sometimes during feed too.sometimes milk comes out of her nose.which is so scary...i mean she spits out all the milk and then starts crying for more.please help me.what should i do.hoping for your quick response.
I think she's spitting milk because she's not burping properly.you have to stand up n keep walking till she burp while having baby on shoulder.
sometimes it's a matter of digestion that's why she's spitting milk ,drink at least one to two glass of water before every feed so that milk will be more digestible for her.drink at least 2-3 litter of water per day .
u can also give her pasmolex drops 2-3 drops before feed 3-4 times daily.
hope it works out for your baby.in shaa Allah
it's important to keep an eye on her growth parameters like weight gain and length. some babies are "happy spitters" who spit out milk but weight gain is good. this can be normal if weight gain is good and there is no other symptoms.
just make sure to keep her upright for a few minutes for proper burping .
however if her growth is affected in coming days then she should be treated after thorough physician examination

thank you for responding to my query.
yes she has gained weight.her birth weight was 2.6kg.now after 21 days it's 3.13kgs.
my concern is she as soon as she finishes her feed she throw up all the milk next minute.sometimes she thorws up while we are trying to make her burp.us she takes burp rarely.she is always restless and doesn't sleep at night.what could be the reason sir.should i be worried?should i just keep an eye on her over all growth or should i consult to a doctor immediately.
