A.o.a my baby is 26 days old ..at the time of birth he was taking top feed morinaga bf but this top feed didn't suit him and in stool test lactose intolerance was shown...and then I skip to similar isomil 1 ounce after every 2 hrs his wait is 3.15 kg now...I want to know for how much time I will continue this milk
Walaikum salam give lactose free formula for atleast six weeks then gradually taper lactose free formula and start normal formula milk if symptoms reappear then continue to give isomil .may be this intolerance is due to congenital deficiency of lactase enzyme.
