Talk to Pediatrician on Legs Crumbling

Hello i need to ask about my daughter who is 15 months old the problem is her legs crumbles alot she has started walking since a month ago since july now she should be walking proplerly she does walk but she fells down like larkhara jati hai chalte chalte i feel she has weak bones or what im not getting it bht ziada larkharati hai chalne main iam giving her Foro b12 but still want to ask i cant diagnose whats wrong with her walking ? I know falling down is normal but the legs crumbling and then falling down makes me worried

Thanks for asking,most likely your daughter seems to have vitD or calcium def or both.Before starting any of these supplements,to investigate is better,go for serum Vitd 3 levels,serum ca,phosphorus and alkaline phosphate levels by a good lab and get her checked as well bcuz besides these deficiencies kids with weak muscles can also have such problems

This could simply mean that she is not fully ready to walk yet. No harm in checking her Calcium, Vitamin D levels. But you should wait atleast untill 18 months of age for her to walk independently.

Children are generally quite wobbly when they start walking which improves in couple of months.

However if she remains wobbly after 18 months of age then must consult a qualified Paediatrician
