Talk to Pediatrician on Hormones Test
Asking for Other, Male, 2.5 years old, Karachi
I am asking this question on someone's behalf. Child age is 2.5yrs boy. Child is very active MashaAllah, responds well and understand everything. But has not started talking yet like he can speak words but does not talk uptil now otherwise respond well. He is weak and weighs 11kg. Upon consultation with dr, dr said there is no issue in hearing or speaking and Dr gave urine d/r, stool d/r test, cbc and IGF-1 test. Urine and stool d/r is fine. Cbc shows hb level 10.9, whereas 1GF-1 test showed low value of hormone i.e. 15. Please tell is it something to worry about

Dr what about low level of growth hormone? And would you recommend an iron syrup?
