Talk to Pediatrician on Head Shivering
Asking for Other, Male, 3 years old, London
Slaam. My son is 3 years old. Since 1 month he is doing head shivering movement that lasts for 5-7 seconds. His head shivers for some time and then stops. He does this only while watching tv. He used to do shuddering movements but occasionally. But this time these shivering like movements are not going away and happens everyday if he watches tv. And only his head shivers. He is doing fine otherwise.
I could not record it because it lasts for a few seconds.
Are these concerning? I have been to gp but she said this will go away on its own bit I want second opinion too.

I couldn’t record because it lasts for a few seconds. Its just head shaking like shivering. He acts normal and aware of sorroundings during that. Eyes also look normal when this happens. Tgere is no change in his behaviour also.

Check after changing the position of TV , it might be due to strain on muscle of head, neck and eyes after persistent TV watching

He gets bored while watching tv. He keeps yawning. Could it be due to boredom? If it is, is there anything to worry about?

undue strain and fatigue may cause such symptoms. but observation of the movement by some professional is essential to rule out any other disorder.
