My son suffers from fever every other week. He was diagnosed with enlarged tonsils in October 2019. Since then he gets fever every other week.he used to get fever before that aswell (once a month) now it happens every other week. Now he has been suffering from fever since Tuesday and he has lost appetite, and he just want to drink water. He was born IUGR weighed 1.9kgs. now he is 5.4 years old and his weight is around 15 kgs.

By frequent fevers do you mean throat infection or just fever? Is the fever documented? If yes, kindly tell the time and degree. Apart of loss of appetite is there any weight loss? If there are frequent throat infections, ones that require antibiotics, I’d recommend to consult an ENT specialist for probable tonsillectomy.

He usually gets fever. Kbhi garmi se hojata hy, bar bar pani mangta rehta hy sota rehta hy, mujhse log puchte thy k isko hr aye din bukhar q hojata hy? Means kbhi once or twice in a month

Mhr jbse enlarged tonsils diagnosed huye hyn usse hr dusre week fever hojata hy, drs ko dikhao to wo kehty gala khrab hy, or jb tk antibiotics nhi do theek nhi hota, drs bs medicines deke bhej dete hyn, lost of appetite k ilawa or weight lose nhi, he eats proper food, mgr jb bukhar hota hy to bilkul nhi khata sirf pani peeta hy, fever 100-102 pe rehta hy, ek bar usey fever me jhatky bhi lg rhy thy, ENT ko dikha diya tha, sb history btadi mgr unhone bhi medicines deke bhej dia panadol brufen, dollar DS or duricef.

he needs work up. he has probably micronutrient deficiency and possible allergies. he needs to see a pediatrician and be evaluated.
