Dear Parent
- Pre-nan is for premature or low birth weight babies, low birth weight means less than 2.5kg.
So, if your baby was born 2.7kg then no need of pre nan. Formula designed for premature babies contain more calories, protein and vitamins to help premature babies gain rapid weight.
-For most of the formula dilution ratio is 1:1 means 1 scoop in 1ounce, and 1 ounce is equal to 30ml. To the best of my knowledge only Similac has different scoop size, always follow instructions given on can.
- For constipation, there are many other things to consider before labeling it, like when you baby passed his first stool? what is the frequency of stool? does he pass hard stool? it is normal for a formula feed infant to pass stool after 2 to 3 days unless he is feeding well and there is no vomiting.
