Talk to Pediatrician on Fever With Cold Hand And Feet

My 8 months old daughter is not keeping well for a week or so. She has fever and flu with a runny nose. We rushed her to the ER but we were told its just viral fever and all. We were given usual medicines including panadol and rijix and were asked to nebulize her. She wasn't really feverish for the past 3-4 days before yesterday but since yesterday shes having high fever again. However, this time her head is burning hot with fever while her hand and feet are downright cold. What could this be? I am really stressed out because Google says it can be an early sign of meningitis. Let me also tell that she is crying a lot these days and doesn't sleep probably because of a badly blocked nose. We are nebulizing her again since yesterday so the crying has reduced but she is finding it difficult to sleep. Please helppp.
