Asking for Self, Female, 2.4 years old, Faisalabad

Slam. My 2.4 years oldniece is having some shivering type movements in her lips and one eye only for max 30 sec. it started 3 days ago. At first it was happening once in a day but today shes having it a lot. She is fine and active otherwise. Paediatrician did her cbc and she have iron deficiency. He has given her supplements only for 5 days.

I am uploading a video here. Can you please tell me what could it be? Is this something to worry about and what should we do. There is currently no neurologist available there. They live in toba tek singh.

I am unable to upload video here but i can describe. When spasm starts her Right eye lower eyelid twitches noticeably and alongwith that her lips also tremble. Her lower lip slightly pulls towards left eye. She clenches her teeth and saliva keeps gathering in her mouth. I am uploading a pic her to show you affected area and how does it looks.

Muscles on the right side of her face seems to be weaker.
I will be concerned about facial palsy. She should be seen by a Pediatric Neurologist.

Seems like a case of Bell's palsy. She should be seen by a pediatric neurologist.

Sounds like Partial Seizures. Difficult to comment on picture but may have Facial Nerve Palsy. If true, combination of seizures and focal signs is not a good omen. Get her assessed by a senior Paediatrician or Emergency Department soon.
