Talk to Pediatrician on Dry Cough And Phlegm To 9 Months Old

my daughter has cough since 3 days. it is neither getting worse not better. she coughs in sleep too. she is on 80 % mother feed and 20% semi solids such as suji, porridge and meat broth. do you think I should give her Syp acefyl resp 5ml bd? if not then how should I treat her? I'm reluctant to give her cough syrup and believe that mother feed has all nutrition and anti bodies she needs.

I want to add that my mother has been giving her honey mixed with warm water and herbal Ivy leaf drops for cough she bought from local pharmacy. I'm reluctant to give that too to my 9 months old. can you please advise if I should proceed with either of these options?
