Talk to Pediatrician on Digestion Issue

My 2 years old son has a lot of digestion and gas issue. Today I visited pediatrician, he advised to not give him roti or anything made of wheat and milk. He advised to give him meat, rice, fruits. I want to ask can I give him coconut or almond milk?

He mostly have dirreah, smelly stool, constipation and gas.
We haven't done any tests.
