Asking For Self, Male 2, Jhelum

AOA, my child is 1.8 years old. he had his 18th month vaccination (DTP) on Saturday 23rd October, now he is having fever since Saturday night and is not eating anything except milk. I'm giving him panadol syrup daily TDS and brufen syrup OD. I want to ask if this vaccine is such heavy? how long this fever last? Should I go for a checkup?

fever associated with DTP usually last for 48 to 72 hours. If it persists after 72 hrs alternate cause of fever should be considered as well specially considering the information that your child oral intake is also decreased.
