Asking for Other, Male, 2 years old, Lahore

My 2 months old baby was suffering fron sevre diarrehea and dysentry from last 2 weeks. I went to 3 drs n last dr prescribed 3 days rocephin course. Now the motion frequency is less than before but still there is mucus in his motion. I want to know in how many days the mucus problm will cure.and what is the reason behind it

Age 2 months or 2 years ?
looks like infectious diarrhea as it responded to antibiotic.
you can switch to oral antibiotic like Cefspan and give it for another 2 to 3 days.
If age 2 months continue with your own feeding...if age 2 years give yogurt, rice and banana.

stop all antibiotics and continue only your own feed.
If still not getting better, see your Pediatrician again to look into other causes.

Doctor i also want to ask a ques k my baby had cough 3 days ago . I was nebulizing him with saline. Now cough has been improved but he is making noise while breathing . When he opens his mouth there is no noise from chest but as he closes his mouth his chest is making a very little sound. I want to ask is this nasal congestion or chest infection
He is feeding m.A and im cleaning his mucus from nose by sucker and also using saline drops.
My concern is that is this nasal congestion?

This 'sounds' like nasal congestion.
Clean the nose with bulb sucker after putting saline drops, before every feed and she will be comfortable.

It depends on what type of bug caused diarrhea. Stool analysis/Microbiology should have been done before starting antibiotics.
